Shelley McHenry ensures Eagle Ray has the right people, processes and infrastructure to deliver on our customers’ requirements. She also directs our corporate compliance and security programs.
Shelley started her career in health care as a certified nuclear medical technologist and received praise for her devoted patient care. She took her “people first” philosophy to the talent management domain, excelling in the full recruiting life cycle of cleared technical and administrative professionals for Department of Defense and intelligence community customers. Shelley held positions of progressive responsibility and authority at Raytheon, EDS and CSC. At Eagle Ray, Shelley has elevated the human resources role in the business development process, becoming a full partner in the creation of technical solutions fully staffed by capable, knowledgeable and best-of-breed teams that offer the highest levels of value and thought leadership to our customers. She enhances Eagle Ray’s competitive position by employing a comprehensive, real time data-based labor costing model resulting in significant prime contract wins for the company.
As our HR executive, Shelley drives Eagle Ray’s employee loyalty strategy to ensure competitive total compensation packages, investing in our personnel so they stay current with new technologies and processes, and promoting a respectful, collegial work environment. Eagle Ray’s high employee satisfaction and low turnover rates are testament to her success. Shelley is responsible for providing a corporate home for Eagle Ray employees; leveraging our growth to expand our headquarters, including facilities that enhance staff effectiveness; and promoting a warm, family atmosphere.
Shelley is a Senior Human Resources Professional as certified by the HR Certification Institute. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Shelley earned a B.S. degree in Biology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
