Senior Process Engineer - Maryland/DC/Virginia

DUTIES: Develop processes required to manage any aspect of a system development and support program such as program management, risk management, change management, and incident management for a large intelligence agency. Candidate will consult with other members of the team to determine the best approach to developing processes based on project requirements and skill of staff implementing them. Provide facilitation experience to drill into process requirements of the organization and review of process documentation. Participate in corporate development projects to refine toolkits used for customer delivery. 

• Strategic Evaluation; helping client define their systems processes in the context of a move toward systems "Portfolio Management" methodology 
• Writing & compiling results of current process mechanism(s)
• Function as advisor/counsel to client to present study results, conclusions and suggested strategy to achieve ITIL, ISO9001:2000, and CMMI certification standards
• Generate written strategic evaluation of results in preparation for building ITIL, ISO9001:2000, and CMMI systems methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 10 years Program Management and process engineering experience in the IT industry. Possess an active security clearance at the TS level, college degree. Candidate must have extensive experience with the full suite of MSOffice product line such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with MSProject is a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Past performance as a Program Manager of a full life cycle systems development program/project for at least 5 years. Experience in ISO9001:2000, CMMi, or ITIL. Performance measurement and performance based contracting experience is a plus

Senior CM Specialist - Virginia/Pentagon

DUTIES: Lead a small team of CM specialists in performing software and hardware CM activities on a government IT program in the Pentagon. Control configuration of hardware and software through CM database and Remedy work flow tools. Perform CM process improvement. Interface with customer technical and management personnel to represent CM requirements. Responsible for the quality of CM service delivery. Attend review boards that impact CM. Assist in gathering and monitoring performance measurement data items. Perform CM audits and assist in achieving ISO9000/ITIL certification for a large program. Perform CM assessments for organizations which desire to increase their CM capabilities and provide reports and implementation approach for improvement. Maintain CM project schedule in MS Project, report to customer on regular basis on status of tasks. Mentor project managers on importance of CM and assist them in following CM processes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years in Configuration Management and process engineering experience in the IT industry. Possess an active security clearance at the TS level, college degree. Candidate must have extensive experience with the full suite of MSOffice product line such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CM tools such as Razor, Rational or others a must. Experience with MSProject is a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Past performance as an IT Project Manager with direct management responsibility for Configuration Management of a full life cycle systems development program/project for at least 5 years. Experience in ISO9001:2000 certifications, CMMi, or ITIL is a plus. Performance measurement and performance based contracting experience is a plus. Experience in hardware and software configuration management. Ability to manage small teams on large programs. Ability to implement new and revised CM processes. Must have strong verbal communication and coordination skills.
