ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT

We are experts in change management, organizational development, and new culture creation. Our process has proven to be strong and flexible enough to transcend unforeseen surprises that can arise. It includes assessment, implementation/transformation, and continuous process/performance improvement and other feedback mechanisms.

We've woven effective organizational change management techniques into our Process Integration Approach. We evaluate your processes against tangible standards, best practices and bodies of knowledge. We also assess more intangible aspects, such as organizational culture, road blocks to change, and stakeholder involvement.

EAGLE RAY PROCESS INTEGRATION APPROACH

What's Needed What it Means Eagle Ray Approach
Establish a sense of urgency Dramatic and broad communication of the need for change The results of the initial organizational assessment provide the basis for creating a sense of urgency.

Form a powerful guiding coalition The commitment of many, if not all, of the most influential people in the unit.

We articulate the need and the new outcomes in compelling terms that are meaningful to executive leadership.
Create & communicate the vision Strategies for achieving the vision and use of every means of communicating the vision, including the example of the guiding coalition. We exploit our extensive experience to recommend strategies that can be effective in the current situation. An aggressive communication plan is a key component of our process integration methodology. We are effective coaches in encouraging seniors to “walk the talk.”

Empower others to act on the vision Get rid of obstacles to change. Our facilitation methodology is effective in bringing together process participants to uncover obstacles (systemic or human) to improvement.

Plan for & create short-term wins Plan for visible improvements and recognize those involved in improvements. The PASS identifies areas within the organization that are the most ripe for transformation, allowing the effort to create positive momentum based on improved performance.

Consolidate improvements & produce more change Use increased credibility to continue to change systems, structures, and policies that don't fit the vision. We help maintain the change momentum through process auditing and certification activities. We feed improvements back into the process.

Institutionalize new approaches Make the connection between the new behaviors, organizational success, and the corporate culture.

Our methodology is based on organizational process ownership. Changes are organic, arising from what works well for the specific organization.

"In reality, even successful change efforts are messy and full of surprises. But just as a relatively simple vision is needed to guide people through a major change, so a vision of the change process can reduce the error rate."
