Gregory Williams

Chief Strategy Officer

Gregory Williams assures Eagle Ray’s continued growth and success by strategically designing the organization for performance to plan and by fostering the culture necessary for the company to accomplish its strategic objectives. He will work with the CEO to create, communicate, execute, and sustain Eagle Ray’s strategic initiatives and assist in the formulation, development, and implementation of revenue-generating strategies and policies.

Greg was a principal/owner at Kore Federal prior to its acquisition by Eagle Ray in 2013. As a senior executive member of the company, Greg had sales and operational responsibility for targeted segments of Kore Federal’s business within the civilian, defense and intelligence sectors of the U.S. Federal Government.

Greg’s over 20 years’ experience leading large and small business operations-in both private and public sectors-included taking new business opportunities from concept to capitalization and working in strategy, operations, technology, sales and finance. Prior to his position at Kore Federal, Greg was an Account Executive at IBM, where he managed a large P&L in the public sector with additional focus on growing IBM current DoD market share. Other roles have included executive positions for two venture capital funded/high growth companies; SVP, Operations at First Service Networks, a national managed service and technology company; and VP, Strategic Development at Stars and Stripes Omnimedia, a media content and technology company. Greg began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy and served on two naval warships, worked in military weapon systems contracting/acquisition, and served as a White House liaison for the Secretary of the Navy.

Greg is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), IBM Certified Process Consultant, Certified ITIL Foundations Practitioner and DoD Certified Acquisition Professional. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy. He is married, has three children, and lives in Arlington, VA.
